I made a "quick" update! I added a potion that increases your fire speed for 5 minutes and I also added a crosshair. This will be the one and only update for the game jam version, but I plan to come back to this project and improve it in a separate version.

CORRECTION: The potion increases your fire speed for 5 seconds, not 5 minutes.
